“Where The Future Lies explores a microcosm of Jewish themes through the sonic prism of contemporary folk-pop - although he does deviate from the template on the Hammond-heavy "Light of God," the swirly synth-laden "The Sign" and "Mirror," which sports a punchy bass line, growled vocal delivery and an island-y steel drum backing part. But the meat of Where the Future Lies is grounded in selections like Levy's own "Shma" and the opening empowerment-themed "Im Ein Ani Li / Stand Tall."

“The long-awaited release by up-and-coming recording artist Ross M. Levy is finally here! Popular high-energy anthems, sweet, singable ballads, all wrapped in a sound somewhere between John Mayer and Dave Matthews. Ross M. Levy has helped change the face of contemporary Jewish music”
-Joe Eglash, Founder OySongs.com
“You are a very talented fellow and I suspect that we (the URJ) will be seeing much more of you in the future. Let’s both hope that there will be other opportunities to collaborate in the future.”
